my phone has decided to shut its mouth up.. autistic phone i would say..

i woke up on saturday morning.. wanting to make a call.. however.. as i heard no dial-tone.. i presumed it's starhub network fault.. little did i know the calls have been made through.. and appeared as missed calls on the recipient's end..

it was only when my friend returned the call.. then i realised my phone is silent.. silent.. silent.. no sound when it rings.. no sound from the other party.. no keypad sound.. nothing..

as an engineer-to-be.. i decided to conduct several experiments.. and earpiece came in handy.. as i can make calls via the handsfree..

samsung quoted 26.75 for consultation if i were to repair it.. and another 75 if it's ONLY the speakers.. additional faults will incur more costs..

did my maths.. and thing it isnt worth all the money.. coz the phone isnt that valuable now.. however.. it's such a pretty sleek slim smart phone.. i cant bear to part it..

as such.. more experiments are conducted to get to the root of the problem..

alarms worked perfectly fine.. music player was muted.. sound settings were given factory restore..

just this morning..

it decided to say its last words to me..

it rang once.. and msg tone sounded twice..

in the afternoon.. i started the music player.. i could hear the phone struggling to play the song.. as i heard reallie soft, distorted sounds that resembles the track i played..

at 1840hrs.. i experimented on the alarm again..

it failed..

i guess.. it was saying its last words in the afternoon.. struggling.. like a terminal cancer patient on the bed.. muffering words into my ears..

i now pronounce my phone is dumb..
