1310 BR226 by Eva Air to Taipei, estimated time of arrival at C.K.S International Airport is 1740.

After meeting yitian, jasmine and ooipeng at the airport for check-in, we had a meal at Changi Airport Terminal 1 and quickly entered the dfs area for some shopping to get ourselves started for the even better shopping experience in Taiwan.

Upon Arrival at C.K.S International Airport Terminal 2

We registered ourselves for the Taiwan Youth travel pass.. this pass entitles u to lots of discounts n deals at various spots.. to get this useful pass.. simply fill up a form at the tourist information counter at the airport.. u'll see this.. it's right in the middle! with a yellow logo.. and collect the booklet.. it tells u what privelledges u are eligible for..

lugging our heavy luggages.. we walked to the airport bus terminal to purchase the bus tickets.. we bought 国光客运 as it stops at taipei main station [where our hotel is] and it's cheaper at NT$125 [approx $6].

we were all quite tired from the flight and decided to nap on the bus.. after alighting at taipei main station.. we had to find our way to the hotel [怀宁饭店].. it's not a very long distance away.. just that u'll have to cross the road.. and walk.. best of all.. it's bustling! okie.. so we walked all the way to the hotel.. and checked in! oooh.. the rooms arent big.. but it's good enough.. it's strategically located.. a row of shops selling food is directly opposite the hotel.. and we see 新光三越百货公司just within mins of walk away!

after a short break of 30mins.. we were all ready to conquer 士林夜市.. but before that.. we have to get our 悠游卡(ezlink). Do get student's ones if possible.. though i dont know if there's any difference between fare deducted.. coz i hav only used the student ones' before.. hee..
