Reflections for year 2005..Hmm.. so fast.. the year is coming to an end.. it’s the last day of the year..
Hmm.. with less than 24 hours to before I bid farewell to 2005.. it’s time for me to do some reflections..
Hmm.. this is certainly an eventful year.. I shall do it in chronological order..
January-I had my first job.. in a law firm at raffles place.. quit after 3 weeks.. and slacked for 1+ mth.. hahaha.. life is good slacking.. minus the part being broke.. learnt how the legal firms work.. how serious and formal they are in their letters.. every single detail.. and how thick those documents are.. and how many copies to be made.. how to make correspondences.. which to fax.. which to dispatch.. which to be delivered.. and which are to be sent as registered mails.. and how to fill in those forms.. how to operate the photocopier.. how to eat during the busy lunch hour.. how to make new friends at work.. how not to offend the boss.. haha.. as if.. the piles of paper files put me off.. seriously.. the people are under constant stress..
February-chinese new year.. saw live fireworks in msia.. a freaking long session.. and it was on everyday.. on the eve.. there was like an hour of it.. haha.. and u have to keep on turning coz it sprouts from all around you as they are put up by different households.. nonetheless.. it was a great experience.. not to mention it went up right in front of you.. into the sky.. to think I wanted to get one for cny 2006.. but since I wont be going back to msia for cny.. I will have to wait till 2007.. haha..
March-finally decided to work again.. but after the release of a level results.. not too satisfied.. but considering what kind of results I have been getting in hwachong.. I think it’s not too bad.. improved a lot.. hahaha.. hmm.. I went to check out what physio and occupational therapist do.. and decided that.. that’s not what I want to do in the future.. soo.. even though I was accepted by nyp for ot.. I declined the offer.. went to work in the hospital where I had my observation.. hmm.. it was supposed to be a temporary assignment.. like 3days.. then it became 1 week.. then 2 weeks.. then a month.. then it continued till the day I want to resign.. last day was mid june.. I realized I cant work for long.. met new friends at the hospital..
April-another month at work.. had my interview for tcm at ntu.. tian came back from Beijing.. went nus open house with si and ntu with tian and wini.. hmm.. bought my first mascara ever.. haha.. and bought si’s hers.. and gort my eyelash curler.. and.. glitter mascara for free.. hmm.. si had to work at another place.. higher pay.. weird hours.. with lousier duties..
May-work and work and work.. slogged my time away..
June-hahaha.. soo happy that I dun have to work everyday.. coz I quitted in mid june.. to enjoy the life I want to.. it’s actually to concentrate on driving.. hmm.. haha..
July-had my driving test.. failed.. haha.. went to watch national schs indi on the same day.. proud of their achievements.. hmm.. went msia.. ate lots of tropical fruits.. like durians.. rambutans.. pu tou shan.. came back for team events and finals.. yea.. almost almost has a grand slam this year.. save for b boys.. we won all.. hmm.. the girls had put up a brilliant performance.. 5-0 in all 3 divisions.. hmm.. 一雪前耻.. school started at the end of the month.. din make any friend in the first week.. and pon and slept in lects like nobody’s business.. haa.. furnished my hall room with table.. food.. a rack.. rag.. and lots more..
August-met my tutorial group for the first time.. the first thought was.. mich is hot..[she still is..].. oli is an independent girl.. weiling is someone who doesn’t go out often.. Alvin the diong.. hmm.. I m sorrie.. but.. I used to relate desmond and eeseng together.. naming desmond is the whiter one.. hahaha.. hmm.. okie.. izzahaa.. [however u spell that] as pizza hut.. hmm.. I m evil.. but that’s all first impressions.. hmm.. watched fireworks display at stadium waterfront.. stupidly joined ntu judo.. and started slacking my time away in the activity room on mon evening.. gort to know my tut mates better.. celebrated alvin’s bday with a slice of tiramisu cake and stares at café by the quad.. annual judo grad night.. went si’s place after that.. in daphne’s car..
September-mid sem break.. how fast.. I was 1/16 through my uni life.. and ¾ of the year zoomed past me.. that was when I realized exams aren’t far but cant be bothered about it.. failed my driving for the 2nd time.. wow.. fell in love with full house..
October-beginning to enjoy hall life.. fell in love with 恶作剧之吻.. fell in love with preparing my hall dinner.. bought a fridge.. feeling more at home in hall.. making it more cosy.. had a reallie good bday.. how cool is it to jump from places to places on my bday.. and a surprise from liquan, ditong, si and tian.. a tremendous present from hi^5.. with a few days to my first paper.. I couldn’t be bothered.. and continued my celebrations.. how horrible that was.. fell in love with jurong point’s prima deli’s waffle..
November-once it starts.. it wont stop.. that was what happened for my papers.. camped in hall for a whole 12days.. proud of myself for that.. thanks to all those who made the stay in hall a wonderful one.. I was officially not a resident of hall 11 with effect from 22november.. my worse feelings for exams ever.. never in my life do I feel so unprepared for exams.. gort to know my tut mates even better by then.. never thought we could hang out oh so often.. my lappie crashed too.. haiz.. all were gone with the hard disk.. sea games.. sent pui off.. know of new place to hang out.. opening of balcony at heeren also..
December-the month that I did practically nothing.. but slacking.. shopping.. eating.. driving.. finally passed my driving on 3rd attempt.. cycled at east coast park.. miss the beach.. went sentosa.. sun burnt.. 65 class gathering at chow’s place.. met up with Cheryl.. finally.. hmm.. elimination.. hmm.. drove.. gort my exam results.. it was so-so.. ktv with tian and si.. finally.. mini judo gathering on xmas eve at daphne’s place.. won money on mahjong table for the first time.. my first ever xmas present from my present.. a huge one.. thanks..
That’s all for the emotionless portion..

hmm.. watched forest gump on vcd today.. yea.. most of you would say.. 'finally..' haha.. hmm.. it's a nice one.. reallie.. how forest gump managed to be successful in whatever he was doing.. all coz he is serious.. hmm.. and i wonder if jenny really loves him right from the start.. hmm.. and if her return to forest was coz she knew she was ill? and would die? so she went back to look for forest.. and i wonder.. if the child really belongs to forest gump.. mm..hmm.. gonna watch life is beautiful tomorrow.. haha.. and narnia.. kingkong..
hmm.. went town today.. din plan to go out till lq asked me out.. she doesnt wanna go home early.. so asked me to go down town.. haha.. hmm.. shopped a lil.. buying nothing.. i saw a nice top in guess.. i like.. soo pretty.. especially the print.. but i wont buy.. expensive.. hmm.. haiz.. there's a need to buy clothes and accessories.. but there's nothing to buy..
hmm.. need to get a pair of shades.. and.. a pair of canvas.. haha.. but god knows where i will get them from..
i want to drive badly.. my parents' car though..

hmm.. a few more days to the end of 2005.. how time flies.. hmm.. to think last year.. i was still paying $0.50 for my mrt rides.. hahaha..hmm.. now.. i top up my ezlink like nothing.. $20 by $20.. hmm..
hmm.. my new year resolutions.. i must must must.. follow them..
-to lose some weight..
-to save more money.. about 50% of my allowance maybe?
-travel to: london, taiwan, bangkok, redang..
-meet up with friends whom i dont see everyday..
-be more filial to my parents..
-be nicer to my siblings.. by fetching them around if the need arises..

-take up tuition assignments to earn money for my travel & petrol fund..

hmm.. made a wasted trip down to holland v.. haha.. wanted to have dinner there.. in the end.. we went to upper thomson to eat crab!!! argh.. soo nice.. hahaha.. i wanna apologise to bobby.. sorrie.. i hurt u.. haa.. i think i m crazy..hmm.. came home to play a lil of mahjong.. indeed a lil.. only 1/4 round.. hmm.. hahaha.. we did a lame production.. hi5 is a crazy bunch.. hahahaha..
hmm.. tired.. hahaha.. so din tong3 overnight.. they left at about 3am.. haa.. i was too tired to do anything.. washed up and slept almost immediately after they left the place.. been sleeping too lil with too many activities.. and parents n bros are backed.. hahaha.. yepz..
hmm.. woke up.. they came back.. had m'sian breakfast.. then.. we went ubi.. hmm.. saw toyota yaris.. sooooooo small.. oh my gosh.. the BOOT.. can accomodate about.. 3 duffers.. hahaha.. that's how minute.. haha.. hmm.. but the interior is really nice.. beautiful.. expensive compared to the rest.. although it's about the same price as nissan march.. $57,888...
hmm.. went with mum to chinatown to get her stuffs done.. yea.. i can drive to sch during cny period.. haha.. they said soo.. they promised me already.. yes.. finally.. i can drive the grandis to somewhere i want to.. not to run errand..
hmm.. enough said.. i m tired again.. feasted too much these few days.. need to detoxify.. hahahaha.. i m soo gross..

hmm.. back from daphne's place.. haha.. had a really nice and sumptous dinner at her humble condo.. oh my.. her room is nice.. argh.. yes.. the view from her room is really nice.. i love the 'love' sticker.. see that pic..
hmm.. i realised.. for the past 3 entries.. including this.. i have started all with.. 'hmm.. back from.. 's place..'.. wow..
hmm.. played mahjong with dt, long and ame.. hahaha.. played 2 rounds.. and won 20+.. ame won 30+.. haha.. long was the santa claus this xmas.. haha.. hmm.. i love playing mahjong.. coz we were soo engrossed in it.. i told daphne i will be going late.. haha.. and indeed.. we only finished at 7.. which was supposed to be the meeting time.. hahaha..
hmm.. what did we eat for dinner.. ikea meatballs.. salad.. mushrooms by her grandma.. whipped potato.. chunky.. kebab.. seaweed chickens.. and of course.. popiahs! haha.. hope i din miss any out.. hmm.. the food were really nice.. given they had prepared their own sauces.. for whipped potato and salad..
hmm.. i m tired..
hmm.. her condo's pool is nice.. we took a walk in the condo.. and.. saw alot of nice apartments.. some bali resort style.. and one with a tv even bigger than daphne's.. hahaha..
hmm.. we had our xmas xchange gift.. which cost $5.. haha.. $5 is a challenge.. yepz.. coz u cant do alot of things with $5.. but yet.. u have to get something decent.. hahaha.. we have decided to keep it at $5.. yepz.. to see how creative we can be.. hahaha..
hmm.. watched half of monster-in-law with daphne's cool 50" plasma and home theatre system... haa.. but it was soo boring.. so we switched it to white chicks.. hmm.. i was too tired to finish it.. soo.. slept after abt 20mins? hmm..
hmm.. still sooo tired after sleeping... woke up to enjoy good food again.. her grandma cooked mushroom noodles.. it's even nicer than most of the wanton mee stalls outside.. coz her grandma used to sell them.. wow.. soo xingfu.. haha.. hmm.. nua3 in the house before deciding to leave for desserts at anchorpoint.. hahaha.. we took lots of pics in her room and at the pool before leaving.. with our 'bouncers cum slaves cum photographers'..

hmm.. back from 65 gathering at chow's place..hmm.. still the same old chow chow we know.. as chowdish as ever.. still dont know how he managed to play with us every time we meet up.. haha.. his parents must be thinking.. why is my son mixing with a group of youngsters.. hmm.. hahaha.. he said he's writing a book now.. physics textbook.. haha.. yah.. writing along the line of serway.. with half the amount of words he used.. he's damn funny.. he asked each of us to write a comment to include behind the book.. 'the best physics textbook ever..'.. hahaha.. of course we din..
hmm.. it's nice catchin up with these people after a long time.. but i realised.. we are very segregated.. hmm.. the guys were sitting around the table.. talking about ns stuffs all night long.. and the girls.. uni.. tv.. gossips.. everything under the sun.. hahaha.. it's onli when we laughed about zy then there is unanimous laughter, cheer and giggles.. hmm.. haha.. but it's fun..

hmm.. wow.. haha.. we were crazy to leave his place at about 12.. after all the public transport almost ended.. and.. we had to call our frens or parents to fetch us.. hmm.. and.. these people gort lost in this ulu part of the island.. it's seriously a jungle.. a true forest! haha.. meilin's fren used about 1.5hrs to find the mrt station.. not even the condo.. hahaha.. her fren were waiting at marsiling mrt.. to realise later that they were at the wrong station.. that was funny.. really.. hahaha.. and jon overshot and went to ntu instead.. soo he had to make a turn back.. thanks to him.. if not.. i dunnoe how much i'd have spent on cab fare.. and he sent dt, lq and xy home too.. phew.. thanks hunk!

hmm.. back from kenneth's uncle's wake.. hmm.. it seems more like a gathering for hi5.. we were catching up with each other.. and with auntie[his mum].. hmm.. hmm.. then we played mahjong on a round table.. haha.. yepz.. with mahjong papers though.. hmm.. no money involved.. haha.. peanuts occasionally were brought into the picture.. haha.. hmm.. his cousin is cute.. really.. haha.. he knows a lil of mahjong.. and was hyper just now.. he sang several songs for us.. to think i was so silly to play along with him.. hmm.. we ended the game early as we were tired..hmm.. i drove them there.. with jon's vehicle.. haha.. it feels weird to drive his vehicle now.. coz.. i realised.. the chair is too high.. i need to tip toe for the clutch.. and.. haha.. the side mirrors were adjusted to the maximum[inwards].. oh manz.. hahaha.. but it was quite okie.. perhaps coz i m not familiar with his gears.. soo.. not a very smooth ride..
hmm.. drove them back.. haha.. but ee had his go behind the wheels out of the carparks.. hmm.. before we swopped.. hmm.. seng brought us a bamboo stick each from myanmar.. and.. liquor of course.. haha.. they are in jon's place..

hmm.. i seriously dont know what's wrong with me.. been sleeping for more than 8 hours daily.. yet i cant help but feel tired.. perhaps.. it's called lethargic..hmm.. ya.. i drove my parents out.. haha.. long ride.. not a long drive though.. i drove to mustafa.. dropped my mum there.. she went to get something.. then went to lavender that side.. to drop another package.. off to toa payoh.. via balestier road.. know then i know how easy the roads are in ubi, hougang and sengkang.. the roads i drove last night were windy.. and.. hahaha.. okie.. then went toa payoh.. back via balestier.. stopped at the petrol kiosk to pump.. then my dad took over.. hahaha.. coz.. we're going downtown.. to mohd sultan side.. grand corpthorne waterfront.. hmm.. my dad din allow me to zoom past 50km/h.. the car is big.. that's all i have to say.. but the steering wheel is nice.. haha.. smooth.. wow.. hahaha.. the view from the driver's seat is definitely different from the last row..

hmm.. was calculating my gpa.. hmm.. quite shit.. not what i calculated this afternoon.. hahaha..
back from mich's place.. tired.. probably coz i rushed to 2 places before coming home to go her house again.. went chinatown to get smth for my mum.. then bendemeer to collect my photos.. haha..
hmm.. came home to finish up the presents.. hahaha.. finally.. can reveal more on the presents.. yepz.. haha.. was put the pic into the frame.. then realised.. i printed the wrong size! it's a 5R frame.. but i developed 4R.. how blur can i get.. hmm.. then was spreading the petals.. i love the petals.. haha.. wrapped it with newspapers.. hahaha.. it turned out nice.. reallie.. din expect it to turn out this way.. haha.. heng sia.. if it turned out ugly.. then i would have to search the house for wrapper.. hmm..
hmm.. went mich's place.. it's a distance from the mrt.. alvin, des and i sweat like hell.. but her house is nice.. and spacious.. after oli and wei arrived.. we took a tour around the house.. argh.. soo pretty.. and i love her d&t work.. it's wonderful and impressive.. hmm.. slacked in the house.. also dunnoe what we were doing.. like just transferring songs and checking timetable only.. hmm.. seriously dunnoe how we spent our time..
hmm.. exchanged the presents and opened them up.. haha.. i like the bag.. thanks alvin.. nice.. just in time for school! haha.. thanks.. and.. desmond.. nice top.. haha.. my style.. =] love this group of friends.. kinda sad that we're going to different tutorial classes.. hope can meet up with them often.. i welcome u peeps to crash my lect.. and i will try to crash urs as well.. if i have break.. i will attend ur lect! hahaha.. heee..
hmm.. ate canadian pizza.. nicee.. just realised.. i m gonna eat them again on fri at chow's place.. haha.. but never mind.. different people.. different place.. =]

helloe.. haa.. backed from training with the japanese high school students... hmm.. wow lor.. the girls who came are not even from judo.. they have merely learnt judo for 4 days.. they are from kendo.. soo we cant spar much with them.. it's equivalent to sparring with sec1s.. hmm.. turned out to be some internal training for the girls.. among ny and hc.. yepz.. i m glad i have went today.. i saw the juniors.. i missed them.. i played competitive judo.. how i missed it too.. it's like.. totally a different feeling from ntu training.. oh manz.. yet.. i dun wanna play competitions now.. i just want quality sparring sessions.. hahaha..hmm.. went out with weiling just now.. to suntec area.. haa.. a good walk.. yepz.. bear hunt again.. but.. found nothing i want.. sian sia..
hmm.. tired.. very tired.. also dunnoe why i m soo tired everyday..

hmm.. woken up by weiling's sms this morning to check results.. my heart was thumping soo rapidly..hmm.. what a relief.. no ta-bao.. yah.. but a lil disappointed by my results.. hmm.. but come to think of how much i have done.. i cant complain much.. given the amount of careless mistakes i committed during the paper.. and the fact that i din even finish the effective communication paper.. what more can i say.. it's only fair for me to get this kind of grades..
hmm.. going out later.. with weiling to suntec.. hmm..

hmm.. still feeling very shagged after napping so much.. planning my activities for the next few days.. hahaha.. soo busy.. and yet.. i m not done with the gifts.. i m doomed!hmm.. sheesh.. i m yawning like nobody's business..
hmm.. went harbourfront to meet the girls for dinner.. it nice seeing the juniors again after some time.. haha.. and.. they were crazy to tan for soo long.. in the end.. not very red.. but some of them turned very very red.. red like lobsters.. haha.. kinda sad to see only 1 sec2 and 2 sec1s turning up.. and the abscence of maomao n paopao.. hmm..
hmm.. went on bear hunt again.. this time.. haha.. saw alot.. it has more than og orchard! soo.. i guess i searched thru about 700 boxes of them today? yes! a total of thousands of them i have searched.. going on more bear hunts.. hahaha.. soo exciting.. i m realllie in luck today.. haha.. i found 5 dates i wanted.. of which.. there are alot of repetitions.. oooh..
hmm.. checked my econs result.. this is probably the best ba.. haha.. i dunnoe about the rest coz they are not out yetz.. scared.. nway.. si gort most of hers.. she's reallie smart.. what to say.. perfect! haha.. haiz..
hmm.. nway.. i m not staying hall in the coming sem.. yah.. parents asked me not to.. okie lor.. stay home..
nway.. has any of my classmates reading this blog ever considered changing your timetable to mine? hahaha.. coz.. i managed to fit 2 electives that i want.. without extending my time in sch[xcept wed].. and.. still a 4-day week.. hahaha.. it's really a not bad timetable.. =]

100th post!!! wow.. that's a feat..finally.. i passed my driving test.. yea! i m really proud of that k.. coz.. aout 18 people took the test at that time.. only 5 passed.. and these 5=4guys + me! haha.. one thing to note will be that this is not our first attempt.. hahaha.. yea! i am now a qualified driver!

hmm.. backed from training.. hmm.. not considered a training at all!!! did practically.. almost nothing.. hmm.. haha.. hmm.. tian, si and i talked bout sea games.. with sir and zhaoyang.. yepz.. hmm.. haiz.. hmm.. he said it's the first time in 40 years where judo has no medal at all.. hmm.. haiz.. wonder what's wrong.. haiz.. hmm.. dun wanna comment..hmm.. training with sun burnt skin is about the worse.. haha.. imagine the abrasion.. oh manz.. hmm.. haha.. sir taught us yoko guruma, yoko-shiho gatame, and 2 chokes.. haha.. the three of us only did.. the 2 chokes.. how lazy we are... haha.. yea.. i love chokes and arm locks.. haha.. sound sadistic.. but.. haha.. hmm..

i m amazed at the rate i blog.. hmm.. this is my 81st entry.. it's alot considering the date i start blogging.. wow.. i m reallie amused by myself..hmm.. woke up.. rather early this morning.. 1000.. haha.. okie.. perhaps that's not early to most people.. hmm.. in the midst of arranging my wardrobe.. horrible me.. i actuallie have 9 jackets/pullovers.. as if there is winter in singapore.. i m crazy.. and realised.. i actually have alot of clothes to wear.. but it's human nature to wear those you wear often.. even more often.. isnt it true? hahaha..
hmm.. gonna drive later.. haha.. somehow.. i look forward to driving lessons.. haha.. sis 'hates' me now.. haha.. she wished that i have passed.. then can drive her to the right mrt station.. or even to expo.. can run errands on her behalf when she is studying for her papers.. i m sorrie.. =]
hmm.. i wonder what my life would be like after passing.. perhaps.. i will disappear halfway in a conversation to drive down town to get a piece of cloth.. or even to toa payoh to hand the uncle a package.. going to different concierge counters in the middle of the night.. trying hard to change lane in orchard at peak hours.. haha.. and of course.. out more often than now.. =]

hmm.. finally have some idea what to prepare for the xmas xchange presents with a29.. haha.. hopefully.. my idea is within the budget.. hmm.. it'd be better if i know what is the plan now.. like.. am i supposed to get for weiling or the recipient will only be known on that day.. hmm.. yah.. it does matter.. a little at least..hmm.. i have to get presents for jon, seng, ed and siang also.. haha.. sheesh.. going broke.. hmm.. gotta think of what to buy also.. haiz.. this is worse.. buying 4 different ones at one go.. really have to go for christmas shopping one day..

hmm.. went sentosa today.. feeling unwell now.. probably coz of the sun.. and.. perhaps dehydration.. but.. i din have the desire to drink water then.. hmm.. a pathetic group of 4 people.. haha.. nonetheless.. i dare say we had kinda made the best out of it.. haha..hmm.. made weiling the monkey and started playing.. both on land and in water.. hahaha.. hmm.. we were thrown into the water.. haiz.. i m kinda tired.. perhaps.. that explains why the entry doesnt sound as fun as it should be.. hmm..
hmm.. took such a long time to shower.. coz of the queue..
hmm.. i m red now.. at certain parts only.. my shoulders.. my face.. and my neck.. a lil..

hmm.. wasted yet another day away.. did.. practically nothing at all.. i m amazed at how i spend my day..hmm.. just when i thought i wouldnt go town today.. mum asked me to go with her.. supposed to go to the shop take a piece of cloth for the jacket due tonight at 8pm.. but.. dad was there.. so he just passed it to us.. hmm.. soo.. din step into town.. haha.. what a relief.. coz i was in some laopok clothes.. dun wanna be seen by people i know.. haha..
