went town on saturday.. coz he wants to do some shopping.. ended up.. i bought 1 top and 1 skirt as well.. haha.. it cost 28 in total.. with my vouchers.. i paid $3! wow..

nway.. it was raining rather heavily when we decide to leave the mall for tangs.. but looks like heaven want us to stay there.. as you can see from the following two pictures..




yea.. ankle deep..

the only place i could go was wheelock.. but i just went there for lunch! so.. we stayd in shaw..

and braved the rain to go to the bus stop at far east.. and took a bus to dhoby ghaut to go home..

ponned the 1hr lect today.. to.. settle something that will affect the rest of my life.. my school fees.. my ease of travelling.. as well as my happiness..

i went to renunce my msia citizenship..

skip the first dramatic n embarrassing segment..

for your info.. msia high comm is off river valley road.. in jervois road.. it's a grand building.. taking up a whole chunk of land.. to enter.. u hav to go to the guard post.. xhange for a pass with your photo-id.. preferably ur driving license.. easilink or whatsoever..

afterwhich.. pls proceed to the other gate.. which is located abt 80m away.. where you'll be required to show your pass before you can go up the little steps..

to the right will be consular section.. and left would be immigration.. for renunciation.. pls proceed to the right..

there wasnt a long queue.. it was 8.30am.. i happily queued to have my stack of forms checked.. and obtained a queue no.12.. it's serving 3 now.. with 2 counters..

after some time.. i went back in to check.. it's 9.. so i sat there happily waiting for my turn.. it turned to 11 after some time.. so i thot.. yea! however.. it's 930.. merely 1.5hrs into their work.. they decided to.. hav a lil break.. which is totally understandable if it's reallie a short one.. however.. it wasnt until 10am was i served..

and blooooooody..

it wasnt stated on the document given to me that i hav to laminate my bc.. and she scolded me for not laminating n complying with the instructions!

nway.. msia accepts photos with BLUE background.. not white huh.. remember k..

i submitted everything.. nway.. while waiting for my number to be called..

a middle-aged man.. came with his mum.. who is wheelchair-bounded.. he said he required the authority to certify true copy for his documents.. coz he needs to close an account his deceased dad opened in china..

and the staff actuallie said..

'we'll need the letter from china bank before we can certify true copy for you!'

may i know what's the need?

nway.. i was told to laminate my bc.. at the nearest mall.. which is a good 300m walk away.. or further.. and it costs me $5!!

i paid $6 for renunciation.. which.. i dunnoe.. for whatz..

alright.. i'd better stop before i get sued..

Two students charged with setting off explosive device using sparklers

SINGAPORE : Two students were charged in court on Monday with setting off an improvised explosive device using sparklers.

Wesley Meow Guang Siang and Muhammad Firdaus Mahaf, both 17, were the first persons to be charged with such an offence.

The court heard that the boys had set off an explosion at about 1pm on 27 August last year in an open field along Woodgrove Avenue off Woodlands Avenue 1.

Two metal pipes and the remains of sparklers were found at the scene.

Following investigations, the two teenagers were arrested the next day.

Materials used in making the explosive, like sparkler sticks, were seized from their homes.

In a separate incident on 17 December last year, two youths, aged 15 and 16, were believed to have set off a bundle of 72 sparklers that were taped together at block 339, Woodlands Avenue 1.

They are currently helping the police in their investigations.

Police said 32 cases of explosive-related incidents involving sparkler sticks and powder have been reported.

They said they take a serious view of such actions in view of the current security climate, and remind the public that it is an offence to use sparklers to make an explosive device.

Anyone caught doing this may be prosecuted in court and, if found guilty, faces a maximum jail term of six months or S$1,000 fine or both. - CNA/ms
